The Attack Spider creates a great 'startle effect' to scare woodpeckers away and many other birds, too.
The Attack Spider can be hung wherever nuisance woodpeckers are a problem.
When the woodpecker begins his loud 'pecking', the sound-activated spider drops quickly and startlingly from where it's hung and then climbs back up the 18 in. string! It is now reset to activate again.
Woodpeckers can't stand it and will almost always seek friendlier environs.
The Attack Spider is a plump fellow and measures about 9 in. long and 8 in. wide overall.
His legs move back and forth and he makes a startling noise as he climbs back up the string.
Although weather-resistant, he should be kept out of direct rainy weather by locating him under the eaves of the building, where woodpeckers are usually the biggest problems.
Otherwise, just bring him in out of the direct rain if used elsewhere.

Developed by a pest control operator, the Attack Spider has been proven to successfully scare away woodpeckers.
