There are a number of electronic products out there to deter and repel deer from your outside space. One of the reasons we like this one is because it uses a clever, patented method to scare deer.
The Deer Chaser was developed by an avid gardener who also happens to hold a PhD and has authored several books and many articles related to gardening.
 
Here's how it works: when a deer moves into range of the unit, the motion-sensing device causes a bright strobe light to flash and a radio turns on. If you tune the radio to a "talk show" the sound of human voices and the bright flash of light create a great startle effect to ward deer away from your property.
 
The Deer Chase operates from 3 x 'D' batteries.

  • Adjustable settings for: radio volume, FM radio tuning, length of time the radio plays and motion sensor sensitivity.
  • Radio can be set to play from 15 seconds to 7 minutes. After it has played for the set time, the unit will reset itself for the next activation.
