Bird Scare Tape will startle and repel most birds to deter them from your garden, orchard or vineyard.
Its shiny, mirroir-like surface catches the sun to flash and dazzle away birds. A slight breeze will cause the mylar tape to flutter and rustle which adds to the startle effect.
This 500 ft. roll is 1 in. wide and silver on both sides.
The Tape can be looped among the branches of trees and shrubs. Streamers can be attached to tree limbs, tomato cages, trellises, etc., wherever you need to create a visual barrier to birds.
Use 2 ft.long streamers in orchards and 1 ft. streamers in vegetable rows or vineyards.
For best results, use a minimum rate of one streamer per 1-2 ft. within the area you want to protect.
Bird Scare Tape can even be used as a "fence" to deter geese from an area.
Simply tie off 2 parrallel rows, one at about 12" off the ground and the other at about 24" to keep geese away from a lawn or crop area, etc. Add a few twists to the tape to add to its light-catching abilities.
